Default In need of success stories

ok so here goes my question. Since Nov 09 I have had 3 m/c. The first two were chemicals both ending a week after I found out and my betas never doubling the second time. So for the 3 time we tried the dr put me on progestrone suppositories 2 times a day. We conceived and my betas doubled once and then again for the third time. We went for an u/s and the dr said the baby was measuring a week behind. But I o around cd 19 or so he said that could be it. So we went a week later and still small but now a heartbeat of 100bpm. I was sent to a specialist where the hb had slowed and the next week I had a D&C.
They did all the tisue tests on the baby and a m/c blood work up on me and everything has come back fine. They think it was just a bad egg unrealated to the first two.
My worry is can all my eggs be bad? I am now taking Provera and going to take Clomid again and I am terrified!!! I really could use some success stories!!!

OFCOURSE!!!
Are you taking pregestrone! I had 2 chemicals and then they put me on pregestrone even though my progestrone levels were never too low but the third time I made it past the chemical m/c stage and it became an egg quality issue. I would ask your dr about it if I were you. Its better to have it and not need it then need i and not have it. I also am taking baby aspirin everyday. Best of Luck and I am so sorry you are going through this I completely understand what you are going through

uggh thats disapointing. I am thinking if I m/c again this time I am gonna ask about Femera. Have you tried that? My dr wanted to prescribe me Clomid a few times bc they medicine places dont like to just jump for femera or something liek that but he hasnt mentioned it since. I have read that Femera will better egg quality.

Grace - I am so sorry for your loss. The not know is the hardest part of m/c since you have had 3 there should be additional testing or a specialist you can see. There are so many things that can cause a m/c .. In the end I was put on 20,000mg Heprin, Predsnisone, Metforming, Soy3-9 Baby Asprin, Progesterone, and a bunch of suppliments. There is hope after 6 m/c I am in my 2nd trimester ( still too nervous to get excited but there is hope)

Big Hugs and good luck

I don't know if these are the kind of success stories you're looking for (no medical interventions). My friend at work had her son, then miscarried in the first trimester three times, then had her second son. My mom had me, miscarried at least twice in the first trimester and then had my brother.

My neighbor had her son, then miscarried so many times she couldn't talk about it (6+) went on baby asprin and got pregnant successfully with her daughter almost right away.

There's always hope.

Hi, I don't know if this is what you are looking for, but I found out I was pregnant in February and miscarried a week later. Betas were not rising like they should have, so I have been assuming it was a chemical pregnancy.

Somehow, as far as we can tell I got pregnant again around two weeks later. We assumed we didn't need to be careful that close to a miscarriage, but apparently some women are more fertile for a time after a miscarriage. I will be 28 weeks tomorrow, and if God stays with me I will carry this baby to term and he will be healthy. As far as I know I don't have a clotting disorder, but I have also never been tested for anything like that.

I hope this helped some- best wishes and good luck!

We conceived this baby in the first cycle following a chemical pregnancy. I was taking prenatals, baby aspirin (started after the chemical pg) and soy CD 3-7. Good luck ladies!

I had 4 m/cs, 3 chemicals and one at 6 or 7 weeks. I asked for repeat lost testing after the 2nd one (the m/c) and really pushed for repeat lost testing after the 3rd one. It was found that I have compound hetero MTHFR and Factor V Leiden. I ended up on follic acid, progesterone and lovenox. My baby boy is 2 months old now becuase of my determination to get answers and keep trying. Good luck to all of you TTC and pregnant!
