Default Need Yasmin Alternative

I've taken Yasmin for a little over 2 years with great results as far as my hormones. Blood work shows my hormones are completely normal while on Yasmin. The problem is I am experience severe emotional PMS symptoms and have heard that this is a common problem with Yasmin. I'd like to change to a new pill. My endo prescribed alesse but I've read online that it has high andrognicity so I'm afraid to take it. My ob/gyn gave me femcon but I had non-stop spotting.

What to take? Suggestions? Experiences?

i'm on estrostep fe. i've been taking it for about 1.5 years and have had no problems with it. it has worked, along with spiro, to get my hormones fixed.

What about YAZ? It has lower estrogen, so it would likely induce less PMS--and you take the pills 24/28 days of the month, instead of 21. Might give you breakthrough spotting though.

What about the Ring?

I had all the same things you had. Was on Yasmin for awhile, but i would have horrible PMS for a week before my period, then the week of AF i was a wreck! My gyno switched it to femcon, but i had breakthrough bleeding for 3 cycles. She now changed it to orth tri lo, and for two months, so far so good.

I'm in the same boat. Yasmin cleared my face up PERFECTLY but the symptoms were horrifying for me. I want a pill like yasmin but without the depression etc.

I think Yaz might ba a good choice. I've had far less emotional problems on it, less cramping, and it has helped my pcos symptoms stay in check too.
