Default Neutrogena Men Skin Clearing Shave Cream

Hi all!

I have gotten many great tips from this board over the years, so I thought I would try to return the favor. I have to shave my face every day, and I've always had a terrible time with razor burn on my chin. I hate it!! Anyway, I've tried literally dozens of creams, lotions, oils, etc., but I've recently discovered Neutrogena Skin Clearing Shave Cream (yes, it's made for men! ...oh well) and it works really well!! I have very little, if any, razor burn on my chin now. I've been using it for a few weeks.

It doesn't get all foamy like shaving cream, it goes on in kind of a thin film. It has salicylic acid in it as well (it's supposed to fight acne). I find that using it, coupled with a good fresh blade, is really working well. Unfortunately, I just wish I didn't have to worry about this at all. But until I can get laser, it will have to do.

I know everyone's different and it may not work for all, but I just wanted to throw it out there in case someone else can get better results using it. My skin is looking much better! I am beginning to wonder if I should buy the other products in the men's line!

For those of us who have male-type facial hair, it surely makes a lot of sense to look at products produced specially for male-type facial hair. It's a pity they're labeled "for men" -- we just have to ignore that bit except as a guide to the fact that it's probably suitable for our purposes.
