Default Neutrogena's Dry Touch sunscreen is the greatest!!!

Hey everyone:

I had been searching everywhere to find a great sunscreen and the Dry Touch line by Neutrogena is amazing. It doesn't make my face shiny or break-out, unlike ALL the other oil-free sunscreens and it contains helioplex, which is this new ingredient that protects your skin from all the harmful rays, not just some of them. Plus, it's only $8, and Neutrogena is always putting out coupons. I highly recommend it for those who have oily skin but want to protect their skin as well!!!

Very cool!
Usually i go without (I know bad-me), so it's nice to know there's actually an option now!

Thank you!

Thank you so much for this recommendation! I was just going to post asking about facial sunscreens. All the ones that I've tried seem so greasy. I like the idea of the extra protection in it as I am very fair skinned. I posted elsewhere about having to wait about finding out about a pre-canerous spot on my face, so sun protection is essential for me. I will give this a try!

Where do you buy it for $8? I haven't been able to find it for less than $17 (granted I've only looked at a couple of stores). Thanks!

OK, I just bought a tube today. Mine cost $9.99 ($10, really!) at Long's Drugs, but the Long's here is usually pretty expensive. I need to shop around. Anyway, I have just gotten back from the gym and need to take a shower, then I will put some of this sunscreen on and let you know how it works for me.

I found it at CVS(Florida) for that price, maybe you can go on www.cvs.com and order it online??

http://www.cvs.com/CVSApp/cvs/gatewa...2561&Brand=500

Although, with shipping, I am not sure how much it will be then, but let me tell you, my face looks a billion times better with this stuff on and it's protects your skin much better than most other sunscreen so honestly, I'd pay about $40 for this stuff because I am so happy with it, lol!!! I had a coupon, but it retails for $8.97 at CVS.

Hope that helps!!!

Hey, cec414,

I've put some on my face, now. This stuff ROCKS! You are right, it's the most grease-less one I've ever tried. It's very comfortable. So far, it doesn't seem to be aggravating my skin (I am prone to Rosacea). I love the fragrance, too...sort of a light "almond extract" type of a smell.

I agree, that I would pay whatever it takes to find a good sunscreen. Hopefully this is it. I got the SPF 45, although I noticed they had SPF 30, also.

Thanks for the tip!

I am so glad you like it, sometimes, I get nervous about recommending something in case it doesn't work out for someone but I think this is a great find and I wanted to share it!!!

Hope your situation with your skin turns out okay and let us know how it goes with your treatment to get rid of the lesion

Cool

Welcome to SoulCysters, hoping4baby (I noticed that was your first post!)

Yes, do try it. I have used it every day now since I last posted and it has been great. Very light and non greasy and it doesn't seem to aggravate my rosacea and occasional acne. I often go on almost 2 hour bike rides and it's really protecting my skin.

I was in KMart and went ahead and got another tube because it was $8.99 there instead of the $9.99 tube I got at Long's Drugs.

I am supposed to wear sunscreen every day, year 'round and this stuff will help motivate me to do so.

Thanks again, cec414!

Kathryn

I can't find it...
I tried looking at my Local Shopper's Drug Mart, and a few grocery stores that I've been in, and I haven't been able to
track some down...

We don't have a Long Drug's or K-Marts anymore...
Maybe I will just have to go without...

You can order it online from www.cvs.com or check out www.drugstore.com

You might have to pay s/h but you can at least get it if you wanted it. I am still really enjoying this sunscreen, and I actually consistently wear sunscreen since I don't break out from it or look like I smeared potato chips all over my face anymore, lol
