Thumbs down never ending period

I've been on Yasmin for a month (I have 3 white pills left) and I've had my period since my first yellow pill. I called my doctor a week ago and she told me to wait it out. Has this happened to anyone else? I'm getting really sick and tired of this, literally.

I went on Yasmin to stop my neverending AF... my OB did tell me that it may take a month or two for cycles to be "regular" on the Yasmin. Mine started out regular though... I hope that it gets regulated for you soon--neverending AF is horrible. I also hope you get someone else who can help more...

I totally know how you feel! I had my period for two months once. It it doesn't end soon I would def call your dr back. I know from experience that if you let it go for too long you get sick and tired...literally. Best of wishes!

I had this problem just recently and I had to go on stronger birth control to stop the bleeding. It was this or a D&C. I took ovral, 3 pills for 3 days, 2 pills for 7days and 1 pill for 21 days. I had an ultrasound today to check my lining. I did end up having a bad AF after my last pill but it stopped after a week. I am now starting Demulan30. I now have to take this for 60 consecutive days so my lining can heal properly so no AF until then. I know some doctors disregard this horrible bleeding as did my first RE a few years ago but it can be very serious if left untreated. I was hospitalized 3 years ago for severe blood loss and anemia. I am no longer anemic but still iron deficient. I have to go back on iron supplements for 60 days and it will be retested. This has caused a long delay in our TTC efforts but I want to be healthy and well when we do TTC again. I suggest calling your doctor to see what can be done. Obviously the yasmin is not working for you and you need a higher estrogen pill. I was on marvelon when my bleeding episode started in january so my RE won't put me back on it. Good luck and take care.
