Morning everyone =]
I'm new to the board, and have a question about health insurance. I'm 21 years old, and really believe I have PCOS. I haven't been to a doctor in 4 years *yes I know.. bad

, and the last time I was, I went to the hospital for a bladder infection. I don't have a medical history, except for when I sprained my ankle, bladder infection, and then when a couple times when I was a kid. Now this is the problem, I've been bleeding constantly, and maybe have 3 to 4 days a month that I'll be off my period. But it starts back up again, I'm worried. This has been going on for about 5-7 months now. I want to get health insurance, I've been reading over each and comparing them.
Do I have to get a check up or physical to be able to get health insurance? Also, I'm about 5'7'' and 260 lbs, could they deny me? Am I doing the right thing with waiting to get insurance, or should I just try to pay for it out of pocket? I will probally go through ehealthinsurance.com. And pre-existing conditions will only count against you if you've had them checked out right? Thanks in advance to the replies, I'm pretty lost with all of this!
