Hello and welcome to SC!
It's wierd how finding out that you have PCOS makes you feel both sadness and relief isn't it? I think that everyone here can relate to that. For myself, I think I felt more relief than anything b/c I was only dx last month - I'm 36 with no children (of my own) and I'd truly thought that I was just one of the women who wasn't meant to have any children and although I didn't like it - I'd made piece with it. BUT - with a "thumbs up" from my ob/gyn - we'll be going on clomid the first week of March (hopefully) because I AM NOT just one of the women who wasn't meant to have any children!
I'm so glad that your nurse knew about PCOS and that you are now getting treatment. You didn't mention being tested for IR (Insulin Resistance) - if you haven't - maybe you should check with her about that, it's common to have both.
Continued success on Met! How many mg are you on?
I wish you the absolute best and I look forward to reading your pg success story!!
See ya around the boards!
