Smile New!

Hi! My name is Stephanie and im a newbie to this site. I dont really know my way around it yet, but im sure ill catch on quickly. I'm really just looking for women to talk to that i can relate with. I dont really communicate my having PCOS with others because i feel embarassed. Its not exactly easy to tell people i have an illness that makes me gain weight, have unusual hair growth, and causes infertility...just to name a few. In fact, i tried sharing my illness with a person who i thought was my best friend and instead of showing a little sympathy she cracked a joke. I told her my hormones are out of whack meaning i am producing more testosterone and she says..."OMG does that mean ur gonna sprout a penis?!?" I didn't quite take that lightly. So0o...to avoid any other awkward situations that may make me feel worse, I just keep to myself.

Now, im trying to broaden my horizon and open up to any person who is willing. Look forward to meeting and chatting with new ppl!!! =]
