 New to this
im new to this site. i was hoping to share some things with women who also have pcos. its not easy talking about it with friends w2ho do not understand pcos. i been going to the Doc back n fourth for 3 years because my periods were irregular, they then told me it was because of my weight that i wasnt able to get pregnant which was weird because it sounded so foolish. recently now in 2009 i went to the emergency room for pains in my abdomen and there they did my ultrasound and i was diagnosed with PCOS. i cant believe it took this long. I have been very depressed and confused all together. It comes to the point sometimes that suicidal thoughts cross my mind. This i have kept to myself. the pain sometimes is unbearable so i stay in bed the whole entire day. im on metformin 500mg a day. after 2 months of metformin i menstruated it was shorter thn the usual and now its a month later and i havent got one again. i just dont know what to do sometimes. |
