Hello... I just found out today that I have PCOS and am still trying to figure what it is all about! I was in for a regular physical and was chatting with my new doctor about how I've been feeling frustrated because I've been working out at least 3 times a week for the past few months and haven't dropped a pound. She then checked my health history and was able to pin point that I have PCOS. What a difference it makes to have a doctor that specializes in these kinds of things! Even though it can be unsettling news, it has sort of given me a peace of mind in knowing that it isn't just in my head that something wasn't quite right.
My husband and I are not trying to have a baby yet, but we'd like to in the next year or two. I'm glad I know about this now so when the time comes, we are better prepared!
Hi Ladies,
I was diagnosed with PCOS last week.... I was devastated when the doctor told me... but after reading through this site and others I feel much better...
My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for 1.5 years... but nothing! I also had an ectopic pregnancy nearly 3 years ago... which has left me with only 1 fallopian tube....
The thought of never being able to have children is so worrying....
