Hi everyone, decided to join this forum after I was today told by my GP that I have high testosterone levels (3.2) and an ultrasound revealed what could be cysts. My insulin and everything else is normal (except for Iron which has always been low). She said it's likely to be PCOS considering my sister has it, and has referred me to gyno in Sept.

My symptoms are that I've gained 50kg in the past two years despite healthy diet and exercise and as of Feb this year no period. Also had bloating, no appetite, cramps, frequent urination and fatigue so I was worried more about ovarian cancer than PCOS.

Joined this forum hoping to find out what I can do in the mean time to help myself. Everywhere I've read says diet and exercise are the only things but I already eat fresh, low fat and low sugar food as well as exercise and I've still gained so I'm bit puzzled. With any luck this forum will help
