Points: 401.48 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 401.48 | new here but not new to TTC Hi ladies--I saw this thread and hope I can join in here. I'll give you a little background first.
I conceived my DS on 100mg clomid 2nd round in August 2004. Mild PCOS but no cysts.
Began TTC again in August 2007.
Nov 07-100mg clomid- no ovul.
Jan08--100mg clomid-no ovul.
Feb08-150mg clomid-no ovul
march08-150mg clomid, 500 mg metformin
april 08--PCOS classic cystic ovaries via u/s
now on 1000mg metformin and will start again on 150mg clomid once AF finally is induced.
I am not IR and not overweight, so I don't get it really.
ARGH! So darn frustrating, as I'm sure you all know. I didn't think it would be this hard again. I thought clomid....maybe. But wow. Going on the 5th round of clomid now and nothing. Progesterone was like 0.8 7 days after my supposed O last cycle.
So, if May is a bust I have a referral to the RE in June.
Looking forward to learning from you guys. |

My Mood: Points: 17,172.96 Bank: 799,792.52 Total Points: 816,965.48 | Lexie - welcome! And ditto on what Jade posted. It does sound like your looking for a trying to conceive thread instead of a diet and exercise one. I'm done with ttc. You should also try to find the thread on the 5 types of pcos. It's possible you might just have polycystic ovaries without the syndrome part. Good luck!
So I seem to be doing the daily weighing thing this week. I think I'm making up for those weeks I couldn't. lol However, it seems to be keeping me on track for some reason. So I guess this time, it's a good thing. The only exercise I've been doing is my elliptical. I'll be interested to see what happens when I start back at Curves again. Hopefully I won't gain again. I think I'll find my hand weights to use with my watp. I've been doing the longest one I have without them (it's either 3 or 4 miles; I can't believe I can't remember. LOL).
Hubby was late coming home yesterday, so I started dinner late. I was starving by the time I put the meat in. However, we ended up tossing the meat. I used a new seasoning and within 5 minutes of it cooking, the spices in it were setting off my asthma. That annoys me so much when food smells set it off. Means it'll bother me if I eat it too. Anyway, hubby ran out to grab us some chicken. I started eating the salad I had made while he was gone (hey, I was hungry lol). It was a good step too. I ate one wing and 1/4-1/2 breast instead of the whole thing - and without the skin. Yes, I know the protein would have been good, but since it was already cooked, I figure the fat was too much. Plus, I was full. But I definitely got my veggies in, between the salad and the sides I had made.
How's everyone else doing?? I feel like I'm back on track. I have lots of flex points left for the weekend too. I started on Monday this time instead of Sunday. How about the rest of you? Check in ladies!!
Catch you all later!

So much has happened...but I haven't had much time to write about it to you guys.

Christine - good luck tomorrow. And that's great you have something until next June!! Update when you can, k?
So I didn't make my 5lbs loss this week. Missed it by .8. lol I lost 4.2; Saturday wasn't good. Not at all. I honestly don't know how I've been doing so well, except for that one day. I've hit panic mode and I normally don't eat well when I get like this. I'm really starting to freak out about everything coming up starting next week (makes me wonder how I'd have been if I wasn't taking wellbutrin LOL). Maybe it's because my eating is something I *can* control right now, kwim? I don't have such a lofty goal this week since I know a lot of what I lost was sodium. I'll be happy with *any* loss this week.
I'll try to check in again later. I haven't been online much at all, haven't had the time. Catch everyone later!

Just checking in. I'm exhausted; my sleep is still blah. I almost passed out in Walmart tonight. I ended up asking hubby to pay for things so I could go sit in the car and get some air. This is getting ridiculous. I haven't felt 100% since the beginning of April when I thought I had food poisoning. Time for a doctor's app't. I'm thinking. I don't have time to be sick right now. And it's not nerves, etc. I mean, I know I said I'm freaking out, but I know me; I've freaked out on things before. LOL I normally don't get physically sick; I know my anxiety symptoms. I've decided to stop my synthroid for a few days, starting today. I've been getting this weird feeling, like palpitations almost in my throat and my pulse has been very fast (again, different than when I'm anxious) and add in the not being able to sleep well, I was thinking I might be going hyperthyroid. It helped today, so I think there's something to it.
Eating is going well. But I still haven't made it back to curves. Not sure when I will.
Christine - how'd your app't. go? Get the go ahead for WW? If so, hope your first day went well!
Catch everyone later.

My Mood: Points: 29,102.52 Bank: 588,241.93 Total Points: 617,344.46 | So today is day 1! I weighed 171.5 at the OB's, and I have the green light to do whatever I want, lol. So, I get 33 points daily, and as of right now, I'm at 17 points for the day. I need to go home and have a snack -- I'm really hungry, and I know I'm not going to eat a 15 point dinner. We're going to try to keep up the walking every night too, especially now the weather is nice. I really need to make progress and stick with this because I can't even button my fat pants, and my new job requires that I dress nicer than I do currently, so I need to buy new clothes before I start. I hate to spend a bunch of money on clothing I'll only use for a little while, KWIM? At least if WW takes the pounds off like it did last time, I'll only need them for a few months.
I haven't posted pics of C on the open board, but I'll see if I can rep them to you so you can see. I just don't feel comfortable as I used to in posting pics.

My Mood: Points: 17,172.96 Bank: 799,792.52 Total Points: 816,965.48 | Oh, Christine, she's gorgeous!! Look at all that hair! I totally understand about posting them, that's why I haven't bugged you too much about it. lol I figured you could PM them or email or something. Thank you for sharing!!! How's D adjusting to C? Like being a big brother yet? Glad your doc gave you the green light! When do you start your new job?
Jade - I spent the day trying to get an app't., but I never got to do it. I was on hold for too long, which is odd, it's usually Mondays that happens. I need some refills, so I need an app't. anyway. She told me to see her before I left and she'd give me a 3 months supply on everything. That'll give me time to get a new one in ME. I should be able to get through tomorrow. At least I hope. How have you been feeling??
So last night's sleep was horrendous. I slept for 3 hours, couldn't get back to sleep for another 3-4 hours, then slept for about 4-5. I do think I had been running a fever for the past few days and it broke last night. Now it looks like hubby has it. He's all hot and clammy like I had been. I think that's what the problem was at the store last night.
This not sleeping well last night (and the past few days) ruined my eating today. I didn't measure well before I ate, then when I sat down to figure it all out....well, let's just say 'ouch'. On a good note, I do still have flex points left for the week. And I've been drinking a LOT of water today. And a few propel. I've been so thirsty.
It's 11PM and I'm dreading going to bed. Maybe I'll pop a benadryl, see if that'll knock me out. I hate to do that, but I'm desperate.
