Default New - and BLOATED

Hi - I am pretty new - I am also thin (thanks to WW) I used to be 180 lbs 5 ft 4 before I got pregnant with my triplets. I weighed 257 lbs the day I delivered. As of Sept I weighed 122.6 lbs. SO Sept 18th I went off the BCP - and NOW I am up to 131 still eating same and healthy but now i am SUPER BLOATED, very bloated and uncomfy. I was assuming that since i lsot weight I wouldnt have PCOS anymore - guess I was wrong. I been getting a litte acne since as well. Is this all from teh PCOS and going off BCP? Is there anything I can do or take to help? I havent ovulated, as well as havent gotten af yet either. It was due Oct 18th.

Any ideas - is this normal? I am not TTC like I was before not actively trying - jsut if it happens it happens (Gods hands) but I dont want to keep gaining and being bloated. I jsut dont want to take fertility meds yet. Last time took 3+ years ttc.

Is metformin something that would help with weight as well as bloating? Thanks in advance.

Congratulations on your weight loss.

I am a thin cyster who has been recently diagnosed with PCOS. I was recently given Metformin by my ob/gyn. I had tons of bloating before starting Met. From what I have read, it is a sign of IR. Once I started the Met and my body got used to it, my bloating disappeared completely.

Have you been tested for IR? It is completely possible to be thin and IR.

Good Luck!

I usually fine I am bloated after I eat certain foods - particulary bread products...which would make sense since I am prob. a little IR.
