Default new to this board

Hi, I am new to this board and I just wanted to ask a question, for those of you who have thyroid problems, did you notice a change in hair color? I haven't been diagnosed with any thyroid problems, but was diagnosed with pcos nov 2003 after many problems. Besides the difficulty to get pregnant, the change in hair color is really the only thing that makes me sad/depressed. I am sorry for rambling when I just joined the board but I do appreciate any info you can give!!

thanks

I did not notice a change in color, but my hair gets thinner and loses its curl when I am hypo. I have very curly hair otherwise. It was always my best feature so it makes me sad to see it wane.

Luckily on good treatment it can bounce back some. It takes a long time though because hair grows in 3-6 month cycles and hair growth is by nature slow.
