Red face New to the board but not to PCOS & ttc!

Well hello there to all the ladies of the board! Gosh its so good to find out you are not the only one, isn't? Well, I have PCOS and was diagnosed with it about 2 years ago. I got married and wanted to have a baby. I suffered all my life with irregularities that almost none of all the doctors I visited during 13 years could figure out. Irregular bleeding, ( tons of it) Weight gain, hair gain.. belly kept getting all the fat? So yeah, no body knew what was going on. One day, one Doctor, suggested PCOS while looking at my extent history at the ER for abnormal bleeding, after an ultra sound, some lab test, there it was.. The little pearl necklace. After that day my life changed, I have felt different. I went an underline series of little surgeries, last year alone I had many little procedures that get mentally exhausting and painful. This year, DH and I started to think baby again. So, thinking all my problems where taking care of, cysts removed, and such I thought we were ready. Started on Clomid at start of this year at 50mg- then 100mg in combination with my metforming. Nothing happened. So I gave up. Then a month ago, we decided going to a fertility clinic where they do much more than your regular obgyn. They put me back on Clomid. Started at 100mg in combination with pre-nats and baby aspirin. Here I am at this point. A week ago I had the sono and they also found out I have polyps? - yeah am still confused about that!- I am on CD20 and last time I went to my dr my follicles weren’t growing. She said there was one that was 9mm but for the last two ultrasounds it was the same size. Today I go again. I am trying to be positive, I know this is a long journey and its not that easy. I just hope that it will work at some point.
Well, that’s a little bit of my pcos ttc story. About me, am 25y/o and live in AZ. My DH really , really wants a baby.. I want to give him that and of course I want one too lol. I try to keep a healthy life style. Am like 10 pounds over weight for average, and I wonder often if that’s the problem.
.. I will go to dr. today for another ultrasound, hopefully my follicles have grown. Thank you all for being here. It really is comforting to meet other people who might understand better due to their own life circumstances.

Well my dr. visit didnt go that well. My Follicles didnt grow more than 9mm. My doctor was concerned that my LH surge was 14.24 for day 20 of my cycle. Has that happened to anyone? Apparently, is too high and there were no sings of ovulation. I have been feeling extremly tired and crampy. Also dissapointed. has anyone had problems with small follicles while on clomid?

Hey 1momwannabe! I am new here myself! Clomid did not react with my body. My follies stayed real small as well as my lining got real thin from the clomid. They made me try it 3 times on the highest dose the third time of 150mg. Still nothing. Well since you almost had a follie big enough to scale....you might want to try another round at 150mg, 9mm is pretty close to 10mm which is where they like them to start during monitoring! 15mm can have a mature egg in it and they prefer to have 17/18mm follies for ovulation!

Thank you for your reply. I found out that I never ovulated per my Dr. and we are inducing AF hoping to start another round.- So how many rounds of Clomid have you done? Are you taking it in combination to anything else?- Good luck to you!
