Question New to the board with a question about Zyprexa

Hello all!
My doctor has just put me on Zyprexa. In the past 5 years, I have been on Prozac, wellbutron, paxil, and zoloft. I went in because I felt ike I was loosing my mind and felt like I was having a breakdown. Am I crazy? This TTC is gonna be the death of me.

Has anyone you know taken Zyprexa? I don't know anything about.

Any info would be greatly appriecated.

Thanks
Amy

ok Zyprexa is an anti-psycotic(SP?) drug. For the past 3 years I have taken 15mg daily. For me it helps to "focus" my thought pattern and cut down or out all the "Crazy" feelings. According to my dr. it's a pretty potient drug - I have tried to cut down (with my dr. less is better) but to no avail. I am currently totally off all my antidepressant meds due to ttc. I am working very close with dr. to insure nothing happens. If and when I conceive the goal is to make it to the 2nd trimester. After that point dr. seems to think it would be ok. I guess we will see. I hope this helps

I'm sorry. I don't know anything about his drug, but wanted to tell you that I hope it's a miracle med for you. Good luck. Hope it helps. Lendi
