Hello all! I am from NJ and was diagnosed with PCOS about 9 and a half years ago. I was put on MET earlier this past year, but had to stop takin it because of awful heartburn that made me spit up blood (TMI).
As of right now, I am having an issue that maybe someone can shed light on.
I am currently living with my boyfriend (2 years), we plan on getting married, and because of the PCOS have not been using any BC (after getting everything checked). I was without AF for MONTHS, which is not unusual for me. I finally got it last month and bled lightly for about 2-3 weeks. BF and I did have some nookie while I had AF. ANyway, about 2 weeks or so ago, I began to become TIRED....I put it down to working too hard....everyone keeps telling me how tired I look. No biggie for me......
Well, all last week, I was crying at everything! It was awful.....! And now today, aside from running to the bathroom all day...I had a few smudges of blood, which IS unusual for me, spotting between AF......and I feel sooooooooo queasy. Got car sick! I usually have an iron stomach, with exception of MET.
I was previously married, and NEVER got pregnant! I was also engaged for 2 years after my divorce and NEVER got PG......so what's the deal??!!! I am almost afraid to test....like a lot of others with PCOS I had my fair share of BFN's......and I just can't take anymore! Especially not with this man! After my divorce and failed engagement, I finally got it right! I am with my Mr. Right! He is GREAT with kids....LOVES them, and wants them if we can have them! He has an almost 2 year old god daughter that we just got to see again this morning!
Any insights????? Maybe I am just finally loosing my mind after all!
I think you should leave it for a while and see how you feel in a few weeks maybe, i know how you feel with the BFN's in the past and not wanting to take another one just to have it thrown in your face. so my advice is to wait and see how things develop.
I'd take a pregnancy test and here's why.
1. If you're pregnant you need prenatal care.
2. If you aren't pregnant may need to see a doctor about your current symptoms.
