My name is Lisa. I have been married for two years. My husband and I experienced two miscarriages in 2003, with nothing since then. We live in East TN with my mother whom we are the primary caregiver of.
I was diagnosed with PCOS on Feb 6th. I have also been diagnosed with type II diabetes. I'm overweight and working on my weight issues now. My first RE refused to work with me after making promises to me because I was diagnosed with diabetes. Now on to my second RE, who diagnosed me, wants me to see an endocrinologist so all three of us can work on my health while we try to get me pregnant.
I never thought having a child would be so hard. There are days when it's hard to hope and I wonder if this blessing will ever become a reality for us.
Hang in there, it is a hard road to walk but all your cyster's are here to support you. I have been TTC for 3 years now and we haven't had any luck but we are still trying and still hoping. Take care and welcome to SC, you are in the right place for a lot of support.

Welcome to SC! I wish you luck on your journey to conceive. It took DH and I almost 10 years to get PG, but it is possible! Eastern TN is so pretty. My BGF lives in Jefferson City and we try to visit them at least once a year! GL!
