Thumbs up The new book by Collette Harris

Hi Ladies,

I got my PCOS diet book on Saturday as I'd pre-ordered it from Tesco and have had a chance to have a really good browse through it. I think it's worth buying as I found out a few things I didn't know - such as a link between IBS and PCOS. I hadn't even considered there being a link between my PCOS and the diarrhoea that I seem to get on a far too regular basis. There are also specific sections on things like PCOS and hypothyroidism which I found interesting. Much of the advice within is fairly commonsense so I'm not sure that really clued up Cysters would learn an awful lot. There is a very useful section on all the supplements/vitamins you hear about, though.
I think, all in all, it's a useful resource that I'll dip in and out of as required. The only thing I did think is that it's quite steep at £12.99 and perhaps might be a bit expensive for some Cysters on a budget.

Anyway, thought I'd just post my thoughts!

love

Welly
