Default New but Not....

Hello my name is Allison. I am 26 years old and so glad to have found this site. I was diagnosed in 2002 with PCOS. My journey and struggle with the syndrome has been tough. I was put on glucophage right away and all it did was make me sick. Since then I have been on and off glucophage and just can't seem to stomach it (it affects my IBS too). This syndrome has finally caught up with me - I am topping the scales at 260 and have an increase in all of my symptoms (acne, depression, skin tags, hair loss, hair growth etc). Nothing I can do right now has helped me. I am going back to my original endo next month and am hoping for help. I don't really have support at home - so I am glad that I have found this board. I have one friend at work with PCOS but she is a thin cyster and was diagnosed later on in life (after already having 3 children without help). I just wanted to introduce myself and say hi! Thanks so much for having this board.
