So here's the obligatory post about my n00bishness... A little about me:
I am 26, Canadian and a newlywed. I spent a lot of my teens and 20s worrying about how I might get pregnant if a man's anatomy came near me (not from being ignorant of how things work, but just because I'm that paranoid), and the humour of being diagonised with PCOS hasn't been lost on me. I stopped taking birth control about three years ago because it made me very, very depressed for many years. Since then, I've developed all sorts of PCOS symptoms, but I stopped wanting to die on a regular basis, so I guess there is something good there!
I'm feeling really alone with all this. My husband tells me that I'm silly when I tell him I'm growing a beard. Well, that's how these things start... one hair at a time! I'm having a hard time losing weight, though pills my doctor has me on to "mow the lawn" as she said, do help. However they make me sick for ten days before I have my period and then I'm ill with the lady time of the month! My best friend is now working on her second kid, and here I am, unable to even have one. Its really effecting our friendship. I know I should be trying harder to lose weight, but it's hard with a husband who thinks of McD's as a second home!
I'm hoping I can find some understanding and camradery here. I'm tired of telling people about this and having them tell me it's going to be okay and change the subject.
I promise I'll check my attitude at the door in later posts. I'm just feeling a little ornery right now. And so alone.
Thanks for the quick reply Navi. I've been wandering through the boards and it's nice to see others are having the same experiences as me. A relief, actually.

My family lives in Perth-Andover -- which is, I think, about 45 minutes or so from Fredericton, if I remember right.....which I very well might not!
I was just up there in late May, unfortuantely for a funeral, but it was something to get up on the day to head home and have to brush the snow off the car!
LOL yeah perth andover is a bit further then that....probably closer to 2 hrs. Its a nice spot though...very small town. I worked up there for a while....I sold insurance door to door. People were super nice!
