Help! I am so confused and the stupid Pharmacist was no help at all. (He literally just read the dosage instructions off the label to me).
Do I need to take Clomid at a certain time of day? I know I should take it at the same time every day. I am thinking that I will take it before bed. But I want to make sure that is the correct way to take it.
Anyways, I start my first round tomorrow!!! 100mg’s cd 3-7. Then Estradiol cd 8-12, then progesterone 16-28. So many many pills… J

Hi... Congrats on ur upcoming wedding. Well I just started clomid and I know what u mean about those pharmacists. Well I have no periods at all and my RE put me on clomid and told me to start that night(last night). I've just taken my 2nd dose. Afterwards he prescribed me with pregnyl, an injection. I go for ultrasound on Monday & if there is a follie the i take the shot and BDBDBD. So my advice is to take it before bed at the same time each night. baby dust & well wishes

i thought the same thing...my first and second round i did in the morning..this last round i did at night and i thought it was better..Baby dust to you as well!

Try to take it at about the same time every day, preferably in the evenings right before you go to sleep. That way you don't get any side effects at work or something. But you could be a few hours off, don't worry.
Just a tip: by the time you get to day 3 or 4, you'll start feeling effects of the meds. Try to keep lots of veggies around. I used to make myself a huge squash casserole that I loved. I would eat like one a day, the clomid made me sooo hungry. And warn the dh that you might get snappy
Thanks Vanesha. I already warned him. On Tuesday (CD 2) I picked him up from work and freaked out on him and started crying becuase he didn't want to drive. A whiel later (when I was sane again) I told him "You know thes emood swings are only going to get worse. The fertility meds are suppose to make you crazy and then there will be pregnancy crazy." Poor guy, he has no idea what he is getting into.

By the time this note gets to you, your first round of CLomid will be over....Pheew!
I Just finished round 3 and my experience was:
1st cycle:100mg days 5-9 took AM--O'd day 18 no stickies tons of cramping!!!!!!! sore breasts galore + moodiness
2nd Cycle: same with much less cramping
3rd Cycle:took days 4-8 evening- Hardly any symptoms but new blood pressure issue not sure if related to Clomid?? Hoping to O this weekend.......
Just a warning: I always had a post-cycle reaction to clomid. Like, I started feeling horrible and pg a week after I was finished with clomid. It's really strong meds and can linger in your system for another two weeks. so tell hubby to hang in there! I used to cook mine special dinners to compensate. Good luck!
Okay so I had a nervous breakdown at 4am last night... but I think I am better now. Only two crying episodes.... so far. Poor Hubby. Although last night he deserved getting yelled at. MEN!
