My name is kirsty. I have a little girl who is 16months old. I live in stockport.
The doctor thinks I have PCOS. Its not confirmed yet I am waiting a scan appointment. I am really confused. Although her explained what it was I am still confused. I have looked at websites but its just making me worry.
I am in a relationship at the min and we have been trying for a baby for 6months with no luck.
Is it posible to have kids with this syndrome.
Thanks for any help. Sorry if this message doesnt make much sence I have my nephew on my knee squrming about.
Yes, lots of women with PCOS are able to have babies, some with no intervention, some with lifestyle changes, some with minimal assistance (taking Metformin and/or Clomid), while others need more help (in the form of injectible hormones and/or IVF). For some it happens fairly quickly. Others struggle for years, but finally have a baby.
I recommend you check out the Trying To Conceive forum. You'll read a lot of stories there of women trying to have a baby. Also read the Pregnant Cysters forum, so you can read some of the success stories, too. It can be a little discouraging to only read the stories of those who are still struggling.
Good luck to you, whether it turns out you do have PCOS or not.
