New & Confused!! Hi
I live in the UK and have just been diagnosed with PCOS due to results of an ultrasound and blood tests. I'm lucky in that I have none of the physical effects of PCOS, and have always been quite thin. I've been prescribed Norethisterone to take for 21 day cycles to induce bleeds, as I rarely have periods. Does anyone else take this?? And if so, how do they find it? I really suffer from fatigue and wondered if this is linked to PCOS. If so, is there anything which can help? If I don't eat really regularly, I get shaky and feel unwell until I eat. With the diabetes link, is this anything to worry about? Does anyone have regular screening for diabetes? I also suffer on and off from high blood pressure and have leaky valves in one leg. I'd love to hear from anyone in a similar position. |
