Welcome to SC... I am really surprised that you already started meds without officially being DX with PCOS.

The same happened with me. I had not officially been given a dx, but my doctor brought it up that i have a possibility of having pcos. She put me on provera cuz i had gone 6 mos. w/o AF. Howeve, I have not had to take it yet due to the fact that my cycles have become pretty regular, sometimes only going a month in between.

I'm new to the world of Pcos as well and I'm getting really frustrated with it all. One day I get told i have pcos, the next its high blood pressure, the next its prediabetic. As much as I'm trying to see the positive side of everything (ie: catching everything while im still young)...its just so hard and emotionaly draining because it seems like the list of health concerns it getting longer with each Dr's appt...argh!

Miss Andrews , your doctor should be able to rule our if you have PCOS with BW and an ultrasound. But, I do understand your frustration... I was DX with both PCOS and Hypothyroid all of the sudden... all those years of being on BC and no problems and all of the sudden I get off of BC and everything in my body starts acting up.
