I was taking it along with herbal teas for 17 days until AF returned. since then as lng as i keep up on it and the herbal eas then AF is about 35 days apart. Im currently looking to getin the DCI because this could be the key to pcos, so far ive heard. but well just have to wait and see!!!!

Did the new suppliment arrive, or help?

I've done very well on the ferinetta from minndak, but am now on weight watchers and wanted to alternate with suppliments for calorie reasons. The muffins are 5 pts and breads are 3pts.

just an FYI for those of you ordering... the price is actually about the same. the chiralbalance site sells 60 pills @ 600mg/each for ~$85.... and on this new site, you are getting 60 pills @ 300mg/each for ~$40.... so in terms of mg price is still pretty much the same....

Tamii - it arrived a long time ago but with all the talk that the new site could be selling "fake " pills i never took them.. Im debating on just taking them to see since i already have the order

AngNitumezi - at the time i bought them from the new site it ended up being much cheaper so maybe now it makes sense to get them from chiralbalance..who knows..we shal see.

Welcome to SC!

I just wonder because it might be nice to suppliment some days, but eat the ferinetta other days.

I know what you mean about ordering something then not taking it. I did that with some other stuff. I have a 5.5 month supply of pcos stuff from insulite. WHen on met, I would get AF headaches so I stopped and wanted to start taking again in January, but havent done so yet.

OMG I have the insulite stuff too!! how funny..i started taking that but after a few days i was smelling the meds..really weird..i normally drink alot of water and even more at that time with all the scheduled pill taking and its like my body was spilling it out or something. I guess the worst that can happen is it will not do anything..so i might as well so it wont be a complete waste.
I thought about doing the same thing..muffins/pills but the muffins i cannot stomach so if anything would just be pills or other foods that have it naturally.

I actually had fewer cravings for junk food when I was on the pills and met together, but Im not much for the headaches and didnt want to perminently have headaches with AF LOL. Im considering going back on the pills though.

How many people are taking the new pills still? Do you like it, what has changed because of it?
I just got back on here & am really excited about the new research I have been reading.

From what I've read, I think the lecithin from GNC is such a low quantity of DCI that you would need like 30-50 a day to make 1200mg dci.

I just took the plunge & bought some DCI from Chira Balance yesterday. I was concidering just buying some d-pinitol instead but all of the research comes back to DCI so I don't want to waste anytime with anything else. $85 for a one month supply but if I concider what I pay for acupunture & herbs alone (or what I might have to spend on fertility drugts)...$85 would be a bargain. I'll let you know if it helps me get back on track. I had a 6 month run of real full cycles after starting acupuncture in August but since having a very early miscarriage at 5 1/2 weeks my cycle's gone way off track again.
I've heard it can take a few months for DCI to really start to work, any ladies on here have earlier changes after starting DCI? Thanks so much!
