When I upped my dose from 500mg to 1000mg it just felt like my mild side effects (sensitive tummy) came back for about a week and then went away. I never had much of a problem. As far as other feelings go, I have felt better than I did before going on metformin with every dose. I'm now at 1500mg and have been for about two months now.
