Smile new drug?

hey

i just bought a book called "getting pregnant" by Niels H. Lauersen and Colette Bouchez, in the book they talk about a new drug that could help people with pcos. its called, D-chiro-inositol. i was wondering if anyone else has heard anything about it. in the book they said that there was no side effects. the book was written in 2000.

thank you
