Hi, my name is Sandra and I am new here. I am a married mother of two. I am from Texas and I'm 30 years old. I have yet to be diagnosed with PCOS. I never even knew what it was until one night I was watching the medical channel which featured a lady having some of the same problems as myself. I then did some internet research coming across a lot of information. I have hair loss(which a doctor said was male patterned baldness), excess hair growth on my face, weight gain( I started gaining weight when I was ten), pain in my ovaries, pain after sex, acne on my face, sometimes on my back, and on my upperarms which looks like a strange rash and never goes away. I have two children though and had no problems becoming pregnant. I do have lots of problems with my periods though. Excessive bleeding, pain, and clots that are so big they scare me. I do have a cycle every month though. I am moody, have night sweats, and a few days before my period I become completely wiped out. My last doctors visit I was told I have high blood pressure and high cholesterol. I have recently lost my job and have no insurance. So finding this stuff now really has me freaked out.
hey sandra welcome to soulcysters... I'm sure you will find out alot of stuff here I know I've found this site very useful... if you need to talk just send me a message

Thank you all for the welcome. Jessica, I really appreciate that and if I need to I will take you up on it. The same goes for you. Have a blessed day ladies.
One study I read said that you can have PCOS and get pg easily when you are young. I also got pg very easily (too easily, I was taking BCP), but that was when I was 23, and now at 36 my PCOS symptoms are more obvious, but I no longer ovulate, and now I'm trying to get pg and can't.
