Hi, everyone. I am SO glad to find this site, as well as this particular peer support group. I've been a lesbian all my life, an OUT lesbian since 1992 (I maintain a lesbian issues column on Suite101.com), and I was diagnosed with PCOS in October of last year.
The doctor who diagnosed me didn't give me any information about the condition--she just said to take glucophage and birth control and I'd be fine. Since I'm an information junkie, that wasn't quite enough for me, so I did research on my own, switched doctors, and finally, six months later, here I am.
I'm looking forward to meeting the women here and learning what works for you and the different ways you've found to help control this maddening condition!

Welcome Hestia! I'm new around here (bi) too, put as this isn't the first site that has plenty of forum action I've joined... I've posted a bit. One of my accounts on gaiaonline.com actually has over 1000 posts. So I'm not THAT shy. Have fun around here, there's all sorts of things to do!

Hi. I'm Lynn. I have intermittently looked at this site but somehow did not notice the rainbow cyster section before. Just thought I would introduce myself.
