Hello,
My doctor "thinks" I might have PCOS....I gained 30lbs in the last year and a half, I have never really had a regular period, I have acne (currently on accutane to treat that) and have a history of depression
I am 23
I'm eager to find out what is going on with me (mood, weight gain!, and skin). I am not thinking about kids yet, but of course that is a concern as well....I welcome any support/advice/encouragement.

my endocrinologist is the one who thinks it might be PCOS....should I get more tests done? He is in a different town about 3 hrs away (where I used to live) and has just tested my testosterone levels (which are at 40). Should I pursue more tests (and possibly a new doctor) he didnt have any conclusive answers....this is why I am so confused and doing my own research.
Welcome to SC Drea! There is tons of info and support here. Yes, I think you should consider finding a new doctor. You should have all your hormone levels tested as well as your insulin and glucose. This is my completely uneducated opinion however. If you are uncomfortable with the care you are receiving then yes, find someone new. Try the "find a docotr forum" to see if a cyster can reccomend someone to you! Good luck with everything!

Moving on to IVF after a year of infertility and 3 Femara cycles. Lupron started on 7/27.
