New Here Hello!
I just found the site and I am so glad I did!
I was diagnosed with PCOS 5 years ago, and up until 6 months ago was never aggressively treated for it. I've struggled with my weight, facial hair, periods, etc. All things I know you all can relate to. And I am sure you can all relate to the "just exercise more - you need to eat less" mantra given my most doctors. (As if we didn't know that, already) But I fought and finally found a new doctor who gave me a proper diagnosis, and in the process has also discovered a case of hypothyroidism. So now I have hope.
And drugs.
I am currently on Metformin, Levoxyl, and HZTZ for high blood pressure.
I like to say I am fat and broken.
And I say that because if I don't have a sense of humor about all of this - I will lose my mind.
Anyway - hello. I look forward to getting to know all of you.
