I don't know if I am premature in thinking that I have PCOS, but I have been doing a lot of research on it. I have about 5 of the symptoms to include one period in 15 months. I have had two doctors tell me so far that I am stressed out and that is why I am not getting a period. After the first one told me that, I found a new doctor and now this new doctor is not listening to me either. It would be great if I didn't have PCOS, but at least test to see, KWIM? It is driving me crazy. I have made an appointment with a new doctor and I will see him in April, but how do I get him to listen to me?
hi
welcome to sc what ai did - was write down a list of things i wanted to say/ask that way i couldnt forget anything. Have you had a chance to look in the newbie section yet? There's great info in there.

I agree with Eva37, write down all your symptoms. Also are you seeing an endo or OBGYN. In my experience, the OBGYNs aren't as agressiving in treating as an endo. But, thats just my experience. Welcome and GL!

Actually, I am just seeing my PCP's husband. My PCP does my female exams and I could never get her to listen to me. I saw her husband and mentioned PCOS and he agreed that we should test for it. I go in this Friday! I am nervous...
