I just happened upon this site today, and I am sooooooooooooo glad I did! I was just diagnosed last month. I think I have had it longer but I just changed gynos and she immediately wanted to do testing to see if i had PCOS. I have always had irregular periods, well when i gained weigh, and the whiskers on my face, chest and stomach, and when i was pregnant I had gestational diabetes and then preclampsia. I have been so self concious and it has effected my self esteem. I am 29. I have been married, and divorced, I have one son, he will be 3 on March 23rd. he was born almost 6 weeks early due to preclampsia. My ex husband is not around, and my boyfreind is so wonderful and supportive. it took me a while to talk to him about the facial hair but surprisingly he did not care one bit, he said it does not bother him, I love him sooo much! I am really rambling here, but I hope to get to know everyone and i want to say thank you for being here and I am sorry that everyone is going through this as well.
I forgot to add that I am on metformin and LoestrinFE
