Figured I would get this done.

Well, Im Kristine. I am 27, married with 2 kids, and from Iowa. I found out a couple months ago that I have PCOS. After complaining of the same problems for the last couple years my doc finally did the right blood work.

I had never really even heard of PCOS and was pretty shocked that I have had most of the symptoms since I was 13. The thing that finally had my doc figure it out was my weight gain and seeing how irregular I really was. Apparently she must have thought I was exaggerating before.

I am waiting to get in to see a specialist closest (3 hours) to where we live. 2 and a half month wait, and thats with a referral. Finally down to a couple weeks before we go.

I am glad to know that these symptoms I have been dealing with forever are actually from something, but pretty scared at the same time.

I look forward to meeting people who know what I am dealing with. My husband doesn't really get it yet I don't think.
