Hi. I'm Kristin. Just found this site about a week ago. Wow. What a great resource! I have already found answers to a lot of questions I have had.
I was diagnosed with PCOS about a year ago. My husband and I have been ttc for about 3 years now. I have a 5 year old daughter, Hannah, who was born 3 months premature. They never knew why she was early but I was told after I had her that my future pregnancies may be high risk. Little did I know "future pregnancies" would be hard to come by.
Well, just thought I would introduce myself.
Can't wait to get to know all of you.
Kristin
Mesha, no they didn't say anything about an incompetent cervix. They did, however, say that when I do get pregnant again I should have my cervix stitched. (Sounds painful but if it keeps a bun in oven till its done cooking then I'm game. Now its a mater of getting a bun.)
That's what they do to Incompetent cervix to hold the baby in. I will need one when I get pregnant. Mannnn, one more thing to worry about. I actually heard it is not very bad. If you look it up it is also called a cerclage, i believe
