Hello!

I am new to this site and very excited to find it! I 26 years old and was diagnosed a year ago with PCOS. I just recently became serious about treatment and have found a doctor with many treatment success stories. For now we are on a trial period of natural treatment in order to see what symptoms improve or self-correct, but I am temporarily on Prometrium. My weight is certainly a concern but more alarming is the history of diabetes and heart disease on my father's side. Both my paternal aunt and cousin have PCOS but are unfortunately are not seeking treatment.

I am looking forward to learning how to navigate this site in order to learn more and to encourage and be encouraged!
