Default New here, but not to PCOS!
What a great site...I'm so glad I found you all!
I'm 33 and from the UK.
I had my first cyst removed when I was 18, and was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 23, so I've been a sufferer for 10 years, during which time I had my miracle daughter! I also have endometriosis and last year went through some radical treatment which put me in a temporary chemically induced menopause. This lasted 6 months and it was the best 6 months of my life. Unfortunatly the treatment ended and here I am...back at square one.
My main concerns are the weight gain and inability to loose weight. I am 190lbs, and I am a gym instructor...so this isn't good. I have a really low opinion of myself, actually I hate myself, and today took a big step and went with my husband to the Dr's ...they've started me on Prozac...I'm weary...but I need a helping hand now.
So...that's me!!
I'm looking forward to joining in!
