I always thought I was ok, growing up i had normal periods, and then when I turned 16 it all changed.... I started getting really moody, gaining a lot of weight, and getting facial hair, and hair all over.... My periods became very far inbetween, and at one point I thought it was because I was pregnant, WOW that was hard explaining that to my mom... We rushed out and bought every pregnancy test out there.... Nope wasnt pregnant, then the doctors just said it was because of the weight gain and I should just start back up with my birth control, and that would make me regular, which it did... but i still didnt loose any weight and I was still really moody... My friend well best friend was diagnosed with PCOS when she was 12 or 13. Me it took until I asked the doctor to RUN tests to check to see if I had it that I found out.

I had been trying to get pregnant, have been with my husband since sophmore year and thought Well were married lets try for the next step... NOTHING for months... HMMM

The doctors put me on Metformin, and that was not working so tried Clomid for a few months, YAh didnt work either.... I still cant believe that I have this, and still trying to learn more hoping to learn a lot on this site...
