Hello Clare
You have come to the right place, read as many threads as you can and post any questions you have, I found everyone here very helpful.
There are many threads on different ways to concieve, check them out.
I use a cleansing formula to get rid of my swelling, it works well, i use GNC Scientific nutrition.
and try to keep your self busy to overcome the depression, be around family and friends.
Sorry I cant really help too much, i dont have much experiance.
I want to wish you Good luck with everything. and keep us posted on your progress.

Ditto what DJ said. I really believe that if I had not found this site that I would never have been able to achieve a pregnancy. You can see from my signature that I have tried for MANY years. I haven't been a member of SC for all that long and after reading through every one else's experiences I decided to help myself. I think the main things that led to MY success are starting Metformin (1500 mg) and doing the low carb thing. Not so much the weight loss because I had lost weight before when trying to conceive, but the low carb helped me get my body under control for the first time. Even though my doctor told me I wasn't insulin resistant and did not want to prescribe me the Met. I was able to talk her into it and it took about a year with that and the low carb for me to get pregnant.
I am not saying do low-carb, I am saying read up on every one else's stories and make your own choices as to what will work best for you.
Good luck.

Check out the TTC (trying to conceive) boards - they have a lot of information about different methods of conception as well as some great women who are going through the same things you are. I also would not have my daughter if it weren't for this board and the info I found on it.
Clare, check out the IR forum as well. I know that I feel sick sometimes and I think it has to do with my glucose. THe TTC forum is wonderful.
Most of all, learn waht you can so you can help your docs with your treatment!!!!
THere is also a depression forum that you might like to look at!
