(Hmm...'New Horizons'..sounds like a retirement home or a dating service! )
Just wanted to let you ladies know that a few weeks I stepped down as a moderator for the met forum. I was waiting for my name to be removed from the list to announce it, but since Kat is often very busy and the wheels sometimes turn slowly, I figured I'd make it official.
With my precious and busy family and 2 new singing/acting opportunities on the horizon for me, I just won't be able to spend the time here that I feel a mod should, so I stepped down from my role as mod.
I'll still be around (Heaven knows taking away the title of 'mod' won't affect my reading-junkie tendancies! LOL), but I just won't be able to check in as often.
I want to say a HUGE thanks to all of you who sent me all the supportive and affirming pm's/emails the last 6 months..it's been absolutely over-whelming. Some of you ladies are positively inspiring, and I wish all of you success on your journey with PCOS.
Thanks for your friendship, and health and happiness to you all!

Christy- you will be missed as a mod on the forum, but I think all of us understand that there is more to life than sitting in front of a computer! I'm excited for you with all the new opportunities going on around you, and I'm sure you will attack them with the same zeal that you do everything. Thanks for all the encouragement and support for all of us, and for being a reading junkie! You have been a real asset to the boards here, and a wealth of information. Don't be a stranger, and keep us posted on all that fun stuff you're doing! Love ya, evil twin!!

Awww... I'm bummed! I've really enjoyed having you as a mod! I completely understand your need to step down and support you in your decision. I will still look forward to reading posts from you. You've been a huge source of inspiration and information to me! {{{HUGS}}}

I'm also sad to see you go as moderator. I have learned so much from you, and you are a continual inspiration to me. Fortunately, new cysters will have access to the wealth of information you've compiled on the Met forum, even if they won't have the daily insights and super quick responses you have been providing for months. Much luck in your "New Horizons"!

Best of luck to you Christy.
You have been a terrific moderator. I feel really lucky to have found this forum esp. during my first few weeks on Met. You never let a question go unaknowledged and I can't express how much I've appreciated that. You have been an inspiration.
We will miss you!
Wow, you're not around for a couple of days, and so many things change!
Christy, I'm sad to see you go as a moderator, but I know (well, hope) you'll still be around to support us and dispense your seemingly endless knowledge on Metformin. I have learned so much from you, and I think this is a big loss for this forum.
But on the bright side, I wish you good luck with anything that awaits you out there in the real world. Is there really more to life than cyberspace??? LOL.
We love you, honey!

I would be sad to see you step down, were it not for the fact that your reason sounds very exciting. Please keep us posted.
I want to add my appreciation to the applause in this thread. When I started Met, you were a rock, and your genuine concern helped me a lot. Thank you.

I hate to see you step down but I know how busy life can get and how hard it is to check in as often as you would like. You have done such a great job and helped so many of us. Thank you for everything you have done to help all of us. ~huge hugs~ Don't stay away to long between visits.

Christy - you are so awesome, and have helped me so much! I am so greatful for your well-researched advice. You've brought me peace of mind countless times when my rollercoaster hormones frustrate me. And Hubby will miss hearing: "Well, Christyz says...."
