Kind of a long story so I'll condense it, ttc since 2004, dx with Hashimoto's in 2004, sent immediately to the ivf factory in 2005, 1st fresh ivf worked, ended sadly at 15 weeks because of an umbilical cord issue. Stayed at ivf factory (I call it a factory because I believe that is their biggest motivation, they always seem to want to move onto that immediately before trying anything else, or dx'ing you with anything else)...stayed at the ivf factory for 2 more fresh cycles and 3 frozen cycles. One chemical pregnacy since the sad success in 2005. I have never been officially dx'ed with pcos, it is something I believe I have. Reasons? well I don't believe I ovulate, had several days a month with an LH surge according to OPK without a temp change. I have been diagnosed with IR, I take 1000 mg met. I have some skin tags and a few dark patches under my arms. I think the biggest reason is because when using follistim I create LOTS of follicles with small amounts of follistim. My RE has told me that I "stimulate like a person with PCOS." That is basically as close as I have been professionally dx'ed.
