Default New meds affect TSH?

Hi,
I just got my most recent TSH results back and they were high at 19, higher than when I was even first diagnosed.
I'm confused because my dose of Levothyroid was increased after the first 6 weeks to get me to the magical 1-2 range and then I was overcorrected, so I got bumped back down to my original dose resulting in TSH jumping up to 19.
I'm wondering if the new meds that I took last month had anything to do with my Levothyroid not working as well? Only thing different was Clomid, EPO, and robitussin.

thanks!

All kinds of things can affect your need for and production of thyroxine. If you still have your thyroid gland, you still make some. Even with your gland suppressed with medication, the body tries to pump out more hormone if levels fall short. Have you been sick or intensified your exercise routine? Your body might be trying to keep up with demand for thyroxine. Or, the thyroid gland itself may be in decline again so even less thyroxine can be made, regardless of demand. That would mean you need to take in more of the medicine to make up the difference. Definitely see your dr. and work up to the right dose. I've had my dosages changed about 4x's in 8 or 9 yrs. Good luck!

Thanks, I did come down with Pneumonia the next day so I'm thinking that affected it too. It just worried me because I am ttc and was told I might need to hold off until my levels are WNL. I figured that it might take a couple of dose adjustments before that happened so Im not going to wait. I think the clomid might have messed with it a little though too.
