I have had pcos for about 3 years now, though probably since I began menstruation. My "official diagnosis" has yet to be agreed upon by the battery of doctors, med students, and my nurse practioner (I am financially limited, so I go to a teaching hospital, where I do actually pay a fee to see a million people, go figure), but all do agree the symptoms do match up, and the blood work from 2 years ago had been updated, so I am currently waiting on those results...
In any case, I am depressed, but trying to dig out, low libido, have hair growth that should not be on anyone but a man, skin tags, dark skin patches, insulin resistance, and of course, have gained the weight of a small Jersey cow in the last year....I tell you the fun never stops..
I have been on the site many times and never decided to join until now, but I wanted to thank EVERYONE who posts because I have never been so moved to read the daily struggles, humor, and miracles on this site, of women and the men or women who love them, and the fact that we all can be there for one another.
