Hi, just joined and saying hi.

I was officially diagnosed on Tuesday and start my treatment as soon as my meds are ready at the pharmacy.

Any insight on Metformin or Aldactone? Any particular that I should watch out for? Also, I am being put on the bc Demulen. Never tried it before. Anyone have comments?

Hi there Kittyrat... welcome to Soulcysters!! nice to 'meet' you

I'm on metformin and aldactone. you should watch out for a bit of stomach upset when you first start the metformin. Try to remember to take it with food, it should help. The aldactone, I never really had any really noticeable side effects. I think that when I first started it I had to pee a little bit more often, but nothing big.

and I've never been on Demulen, so I have no advice there. Good luck with your treatment!!
