Question New to Message Board & Treatment..Confused

Hello, I am day 7 piui. This is my first round of fertility shots (follistem). My largest vialble Follic, was around 21 & the two others were about 18. My doc said that my husbands sperm count was 127 million that is supposed to be good? Anyhow, they said that I ovulated and we had the iui 36 hours after the trigger shot. I have been overly tired lately. I am confused I don't know what signs to look for, today I am having some mild cramping on my right side and random discharge type spotting. Ugh, I am just scared. We did 9 months of Clomid in 2002 and gave up with no success, we adopted out daughter from China (after a two year wait) in 2006. She's amazing.

What am I supposed to look for for signs of pregnancy??? My boobs we really swollen & sore but now they seem to be easing up a bit. Ugh, I can't stand th ewait, it's driving me nuts. Okay, any advice will help. I have tried two other message boards but no one wants to respond to me.

There is a sticky called "Pregnancy symptoms, BETA numbers, BFP gallery, and Plus sized pregnancy stories" at the top of the page where a lot of women who have gotten bfp post their first symptoms. I would like to share that personally I had my first IUI last cycle and a few days after the trigger I had a lot of pg symptoms and was almost convinced it was my bfp cycle but unfortunately it wasn't. The hcg in the trigger can cause those symptoms as can other meds. With us cysters you really might not know until you test. Hope that helps and good luck!!

If your spotting has spots of blood in it- not just regular CM- then that's a good sign. Hang tight for another 7 days and start testing. Good luck!

I agree with the previous posters.
Hang out on SC - we'll do our best to help. (I just started my first inject/IUI cycle, too.)
All the best!

Good luck, so far it sounds promising. Your DH does have a very, very good count, and your follicle(s) measured very nicely!

Thank you everyone for being so nice. Today I am spotting a discharge of brown/blood. Sort of like what happens a week before I get my period. Ugh!!! I guess I just have to wait and see. Thanks Again

Congratulations on your bfp! The hcg (or beta) number isn't as important as how quickly it rises. I think they like it to double every couple days. The progesterone supplements should help, but it's good they're monitoring you so closely. I hope everything goes well for you! Stickydust!!!

Congrats on the BFP!

I don't know much about beta levels. It's good your doc put you on Prog. Sticky baby dust to you!!

Unhappy Chemical pregnancy - help?

hello, well after my levels did not rise, they agreed it was a chemical pregnancy. I am a bit disappointed but at least there was some progress this time (1st sign in 6 years). So, now they told me to wait till my next period and then call, but i have to wait one month. Who knows. Anyone ever had this happen? How long to you wait to start gagin? does this keep re-occuring? thanks for your support. I hope everyone had a nice weekend!!!

Sorry to hear about your chem pregnancy. If you get a period soon, can't you do the same treatment that you did in this last cycle right away?

Default injectables

Hello, don't chicken out. They are not bad at all. The iui was nothing, paps are more uncomfortable. I did clomid for 9 months, don't waste your time. thanks for the support, I was told I have to wait an entire month to start the injectables again!!! good luck to you!

Hi farrellb421!

Thanks for the words of encouragement about injectibles & IUI. I am really excited to do it, so I don't know what got into me last week. I will definitely do them the next chance I get, if there's no BFP this cycle. I think me and the DH just wanted one cycle to try naturally now that the fibroids are out and see what happens.

Sorry to hear you have to wait a whole cycle to do the injectibles again- is there a reason for that, like cysts on your ovaries or something? When you start your next IUI cycle, I'll probably be starting mine too, so maybe I'll see you over on one of the injectibles buddy threads!
