I started Met during the last week in October, and slowly worked myself up to 2,000mg. I have been on 2000 for about 1 month now. While I was working up to the 2,000 I lost 6 lbs. This past month I actually had my first non birthcontrol pill induced 28 day cycle. I think I might have even ovulated. Does anyone else experience pain during ovulation??

I'm not sure if it is something directly do deal with PCOS, but I *think* (though I am not a medical doctor or anything near that) it is not uncommon for women to have pain during ovulation. In fact, my sister almost went to the emergency room because of the pain. Instead, she went to her regular DR, who said it was just ovulation.

So don't worry too much, I'd think.. but of course, if you think it's severe, or if you've really never had any pain like it before, it might be a good idea to talk to your DR about it.
