Is this normal? I have stuffy nose sore throat my eyes hurt/are dry and i have a little cough, anyone else have this when they started? or am I just unlucky and caught a cold at the same time i started taking it

Happened to me too. I started Met and got sick that day. I lowered my dose and the cold miraculously went away. I raised my dose again and I got sick that day again. After about a week of being sick I lowered the dose again and the cold went away that day. I was lowering it for a different reason, but I noticed it happened again. I've had lots of problems with it other than that. Hope you feel better!

Diagnosed with:
PCOS in 2000
IR 4/09 500mg of Met.
5/09 Vit D deficiency (9) Currently taking 50,000 of Vit D for 6 wks then 2000 of D3 a day.
Also take Meds for a Seizure Disorder and allergies.

Hi, I am on Okinawa as well, and also started met last week(500mil). I felt quite stuffy the first day and it went away. Could it be the weather, here? Allergy season??

What base are you on? Were on Foster.
