Hello, I am 23 years old. I am sooo happy to have found this site. I have had most all the symptoms since I was 14. I have finally found a GYN that is going to do tests on Monday. I am kind of excited to start trying to do something for it. At the same time I am kind of nervous because I don't know exactly what to expect. I have been on birth control on & off since I was 14, the symptoms seem worse while I'm on the pill than when I take them.
It's normal to have the mixed feelings, I think everyone here can relate to feeling that way once being dx'd. I am glad that you're getting treatment! Don't be nervous about the appt (easy for me to say - right!?) you'll be fine. More than likely you can expect to have BW (blood work) and an u/s (ultra sound) done - but maybe not both in the same day - just depends.
If you haven't already, you should take a look at some of the "stickies" on this forum, ones that could help better prepare yourself with questions you may want to ask the doc on Monday. So I say... read, read, READ!
