Hello everyone....I have been having problems for years. I am 28 years old, and my periods have been horrible for as long as I can remember. I was diagnosed with ovarian cysts 2 years ago. After doing some research as to why all my hair is falling out, I found this site. I took the PCOS quiz and scored 14.5.....
I went to the ob/gyn today and told the nurse all my symptoms. As she was leaving, I showed her the quiz I had printed out. She said she was going to tell the dr she thought I had PCOS. After talking to the dr., she said she felt confident I had it. I am scheduled for all the bloodwork and a pelvic ultrasound in a month. She also said I might have some other problems, all related to the PCOS.
I walked to my car, got in, and started laughing soooo hard. I was just so relieved to realize I wasn't going crazy. There was something wrong.
Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself and say Hi!
